Harsha Behavioral Center develops a new non-profit, Naveen, Inc., dedicated to mental health progress in West Central Indiana

Harsha Behavioral Center has recently created a new non-profit, Naveen, Inc., focusing specifically on mental health services. This new extension of Harsha Behavioral Center, Naveen Inc. is committed to delivering mental health services in an accessible manner to communities across West Central Indiana.

“Naveen Inc. will be working in collaboration with regional organizations to better understand communities’ needs and identify solutions for individuals suffering from mental health conditions” says Roopam Harshawat, CEO of Harsha as well as Director and Chair for Naveen Inc. “Naveen Inc. will help further cultivate mental health resources and opportunities in and around the region.”

Naveen Inc.’s mission is to foster affordable and effective accessibility to high-quality mental health services. This nonprofit will be spearheading mental health services in West Central Indiana by offering all people and their loved ones a path to recovery through education, treatment and support.

Ultimately, Naveen Inc.’s mission is parallel to Harsha’s, which provides integrated mental health services in an ethical, safe and nurturing environment and restores quality of life with respect, teamwork and innovation. Naveen’s vision is to empower people within and beyond West Central Indiana to take charge of their mental health, allowing them to thrive in their communities.

Established in 2008, Harsha Behavioral Center is an acute care hospital providing inpatient services, to a wide range of individuals from three years old to 55 years and older. Harsha has created a long-lasting impact throughout West Central Indiana.

Harshawat concludes, “I have been hoping for the Naveen Inc. vision to become reality for a very long time now, and with this nonprofit extension of the Harsha Behavior Center we will be able to extend our services to a larger group of individuals.”
